Canons Park Children's Fun Day

Location: Canons Park, Edgware

North West London group will be running a sales and advice stall at this annual event run by Friends of Canons Park. Can you guess how many peanuts are in our bird feeder? Come along and support us and join in the fun.
Parking is available in the station car park in Donnefield Avenue, HA8 6RH, but charges will apply.

Bat Walk at Brent Reservoir

Location: Meet by bridge on Cool Oak Lane, West Hendon, NW9. (Nearest rail station is West Hendon). Several bus routes (32, 83, 142, 183) serve West Hendon Broadway which is only a short walk away.

Join us on a bat walk around Brent reservoir led by Roy Beddard with Bob Husband, RSPB group leader. Pippistrelle, noctule and Daubenton are frequently seen/heard. Bring a bat detector if you have one and a torch may be useful.
Wear suitable outdoor clothing and boots / wellingtons as terrain can be wet and uneven. The walk usually lasts about 2 hours.
NB: Event may be cancelled at short notice if cold & wet.
