About us

The group aims to actively support the work of the RSPB in the local community and to involve RSPB members and the wider public in the Society's conservation, public affairs, education, fundraising and other activities. We have regular monthly indoor meetings locally throughout the year and regular bird watching walks. Please note you do not have to be a bird expert, there is something for everyone! Whether your interest is mainly in watching birds in your garden, whether you have a lifelong interest in birds or whether you just like getting out in the great outdoors, in the countryside and among wildlife. Our walks leaders are knowledgeable about birds so it is a great opportunity to learn more about them from the experts!

So if you would like to have fun and meet like minded people contact us and help make a difference for birds and wildlife.

For more information about our activities/events please call Gordon Humby on 02392 353949.
