Evening Illustrated Talk - Birds without Borders speaker Peter Holden from the RSPB

Location: Tilbury Hall, United Reformed Church, Darkes Lane, Potters Bar
Postcode: EN6 1BZ (Google map)

Peter Holden MBE, one of the RSPB's longest serving staff members, has authored or co-authored more than a dozen books which have together sold more than a million copies.
He will be illustrating how birds and other animals navigate across land and sea, and will be revealing some of the incredible journeys they make every year. This is an exciting time because so much new information is suddenly becoming available due to satellite tracking and other technology. He has also been fortunate to visit many of the countries that feature in his talk and enjoys using his own photos to bring to life some of these amazing creatures. There is also a concern that so many of these birds are now declining rapidly, especially those that spend the winter in Africa.
