Location: Meet at Morewood Close, off London Road, Sevenoaks, TN13 2HU (the road leading to the Station Car Park). Turn off London Road into Morewood Close (by Fire Station), follow road round sharp right hand bend.
Arrive at 8:30 for an 8:45 departure.

Cliffe Pools RSPB Reserve - walk led by John Waterman

Location: Take the A289 off the A2 near Strood. From the A289 follow the B2000. For Salt Lane turn 2nd L after the round stone "Cliffe" village sign (into Rectory Road). Turn R at the next T junction and Salt Lane is next L. Continue along Salt Lane until the road bends sharply to the right - the car park is situated on the left hand side just past the bend.

Gary Prescott is an eco-birdwatcher and the only person to have been to every RSPB nature reserve in the UK on his bicycle, raising funds for the RSPB. Gary has also cycled and pack rafted in Peru.
With photographs and videos taken on his travels, Gary will be talking about his adventures to watch birds. During his stay in Peru he was greeted at the door of his hut each morning by a female tapir asking for bananas!

Following the Group's AGM, Brian will give his talk on the landscapes, birds and wildlife of three of the south Caribbean Islands.
Trinidad is only 7 miles off the coast of Venezuela and the wildlife is typically South American, but Tobago, only 19 miles to the north-east has a different character and some birds are only found on one or the other, but not both.
St. Lucia is part of the Lesser Antilles chain, which originated as submarine volcanoes, and there are distinct signs of its volcanic past.
Non-members are welcome, but will not be eligible to participate in the AGM business.
