TRIP TO WYRE FOREST NEAR BEWDLEY

The weather was kind to us as it was light cloud with sunny intervals to encourage the butterflies to take to the air but we were spared the heat and humidity of the previous afternoon.The area is an NNR. It is part of one of England's largest ancient lowland coppice oak woodlands. The oak trees cloak a deep valley with a small river running along its length.
