We have recently discussed looking for opportunities for our group to get involved in practical conservation. To whet the appetite and see how popular this might be amongst Solihull RSPB members, Nick Martin who is on your committee, but also works for Warwickshire Wildlife Trust has arranged a half day hedgerow planting. The session will be from 10am to 1pm on Saturday 5th February.
The session will be open to anyone who is interested and all equipment and materials will be provided. Participants need only turn up in clothes suitable to get muddy and stout boots or wellies. It will be a fun morning burning calories, working muscles and doing something for nature.
