Our new season

After 18 months without face to face meetings we are now all set for our new season. Please e-mail us at johnbirder@care4free.net for a copy of our programme and summer newsletter.
We kick off on Thursday 2nd September at 7.30 am with a live talk at our usual venue. The speaker will be Peter Preece and his talk is entitled "Every picture tells a story" Peter has spoken to our group before and is an excellent photographer. Many of his images can be seen on his website - Peter Preece Wildlife Photographer . Peter's talk will be preceded at 7.15 by our group AGM
If you would like to attend, please e-mail us at the above address, as we need to make you aware of some Covid related measures we will have in place for our indoor meetings.
Our first morning walk of the new season is on Friday 3rd September at Sutton Park. Meet at 10.00am at the lower model aircraft car park (access via Powell's Pool/Boldmere Road Gate on Monmouth Drive) We will be hoping to see migrants passing through such as flycatchers , wheatears and redstarts. Last year there was a red-backed shrike -but that would be perhaps too much to hope for.
