Look out for white-tailed eagles!

Last month, a number of white-tailed eagles were released on the Isle of Wight. One of them has proved very adventurous. He has been seen as far away as Essex and over Central London. On the way, he has visited some of our favourite locations, like Rye Harbour Nature Reserve and the Isle of Sheppey. So it's worth keeping an open mind: that big raptor in the sky might be a white-tailed eagle!

Tunbridge Wells Borough Council Local Plan

Tunbridge Wells Borough Council Local Plan envisages a new town of 2,800 houses in Tudeley and 4,000 houses around Paddock Wood. Much of this development will be on Green Belt land. There are serious concerns about the impact on nature, for example turtle doves are regularly seen in the area.
