Gatwick consults on second runway

Gatwick airport are running a consultation on their proposals to open up their second runway for regular flights. (The runway is currently only intended to be used in emergencies.) This is obviously intended to result in a significant increase in flights and passenger numbers, with corresponding increased traffic to and from the airport.
To check out these plans, you can view documents at Tunbridge Wells library, or visit their mobile exhibition, which is visiting Tunbridge Wells on the morning of 5th November. You can also look at them and respond online.
It's important that nature's voice is heard when such developments are proposed.
