Conditions: a cold winter's day with a stiff NE wind across the Island, becoming gusty as the day wore on. Temperatures were around 2-3 degrees centigrade with high tide around noon. Our trip started at Leysdown/Shellness to watch waders with the incoming tide; we went on to Harty Ferry and Capel Fleet.
