Field Trip to Dungeness

Field Trip to Dungeness
Penny Skoyles

Wednesday, 28 January 2015

It was a very windy, cold day with showers during the morning, staying overcast throughout the day. Ten of us enjoyed great views of male and female smew, kingfishers perched close by and a male scaup. We were joined by a RSPB member from Ashford wanting help with identifying some of the birds.

We visited the main RSPB Reserve, ARC pit and Scotney Pit.
