This enjoyable event resulted in sightings of 24 birds, 30 different wildflowers including Lizard Orchid, Bee Orchid and Fragrant Orchid and eight different butterflies including the beautiful Adonis Blue.

Flowers: Cinquefoil, Rock Rose, Chalk Milkwort, Ground Ivy, Red Hemp Nettle, Wood Avens, Dog Rose, Bramble, Pyramidal Orchid, Scarlet Pimpernel, Wild Strawberry, Lizard Orchid, Bee Orchid, Fragrant Orchid, Hounds Tongue, Gromwell, White Bryony, Fairy Flax (a purgative and can be extremely dangerous), Horshoe Vetch, Birdsfoot Trefoil, Yellow-wort, Common Spotted Orchid, Teasel, Red & White Clover, Poppy, Prickly Sowthistle, Elderflower, Mallow, Red Campion (30)

Butterflies: Speckled Wood, Brimstone, Common Blue, Orange Tip, Large & Small White, Large Skipper, Adonis Blue (8)

Dragonflies: 4 Spotted Chaser, Emperor, Blue Damselflies
