A group of 13 enjoyed what turned out eventually to be a sunny morning at the WWT Reserve, Penclacwydd, Llanelli in the grounds and hides (Michael Powell, British Steel and Heron's Wing). Fifty species of wildfowl, garden birds, seabirds, waders and marsh birds were seen including a greenshank, dunlin, snipe, wigeon, godwits, water pipits, meadow pipits and lapwing. The photo shows part of the wide view of the lake out of the Heron's Wing hide. Later, at the Peter Scott hide, an otter was seen on the far bank of the lake.
