Ann is an experienced instructor of residential and non-residential birdwatching and training courses at many venues in the UK and has also been involved in training field staff in places such as Ghana, France, Italy, Bulgaria, Rwanda and Burundi. Until her retirement in 1997 she was a Senior Wildlife Advisor for the RSPB.

Richard is Director of Conservation at the World Land Trust, an international conservation NGO based in Suffolk. He has over 20 years experience working in conservation, including international work with the RSPB.
The World Land Trust has worked for over 30 years to bring land into conservation through a network of partner organisations in over 20 countries around the world. The talk will outline WLT's work, highlighting projects that have secured over one million acres of land for conservation.
