Mute swans

If you hear us honking overhead lookout as we come into land, we use our feet as water-skis and are the largest birds at the Long Water.

Us mute swans have the regal poise and majestic plumage befitting a royal bird.

Come and see us at Kensington Gardens in the company of herons, gulls, coots and possibly the local tawny owl.

When can you see us?

During the weekend, Saturday and Sunday, our expert staff will be on hand to have a chat and provide advice 11am – 4:30pm.

What's at the site?

The large RSPB ‘Love Nature’ Show-van is where you can come and pick up your Wildlife Challenge by The Italian Gardens, then binoculars and scopes will be set up by The Peter Pan Statue.

How to find us

On the Long Water and the Italian Gardens, by the Marlborough Gate entrance, and watchpoint at the Peter Pan Statue.
