Visit to RSPB Lakenheath Fen

Sunday 15 May

7 am

Price: £20 group members, £23 non-group members, plus admission for non RSPB members

Booking essential

The RSPB has converted an area of arable farmland into a large wetland, consisting mainly of reedbeds and grazing marshes.

The reedbeds attract hundreds of pairs of reed warblers and sedge warblers, as well as bearded tits bitterns, cranes and marsh harriers.

In early summer, hobbies catch insects high over the marshes.

Please note: this event is run by an RSPB volunteer group and is organised for interested members of the local community.
