Britain's only desert and the RSPB's oldest reserve!
A good opportunity to top up your duck & wader species, as well as your bird food.
We will visit the main reserve.
Nothing is guaranteed, but there is a good chance of bittern, great white egret, smew, marsh harrier & bearded tit.
There are 5 hides and 2 new viewing areas, and visitors centre with coffee and toilet facilities.
You will have the option to go round the site on your own or with someone from the group.
We will have a comfort stop on route.
Please wear stout shoes and bring your own packed lunch.
We will be leaving this site at 3pm instead of the usual 4pm.
RSPB members will need to bring their membership cards or you may have to pay the entry fee!

Please note: this event is run by an RSPB volunteer group and is organised for interested members of the local community.
