Field trip to Burton Mere Wetlands and Parkgate

8.00 am at Marple Library car park, in the Memorial Park, Marple

Price: Free to all RSPB members. Non-RSPB members will need to pay an entrance fee at the Visitor Centre of £4.00 to gain entrance.

A car trip to one of the RSPB's newest reserves. The hides are excellent, there is ample car parking at the new visitor centre and there are toilets. You can also have a coffee there.

The path to the former Inner Marsh farm Reserve is open and full of interest.

Nearby are the extensive Parkgate Marshes where raptors and owls may be seen.

Please ensure you have your RSPB membership card else you will pay the entrance fee.

Please note: this event is run by an RSPB volunteer group and is organised for interested members of the local community.
