Can you help RSPB Arne save nature this Christmas?

The leaves are starting to fall, the wellies have come back out the cupboard, gloves and scarves have been dug out from the bottom of the drawer, that can only mean one thing... Pull a Pine!

This year Pull a Pine will be on the 7th December, along with our Christmas Fayre on the 8th of December, where (if you want to avoid the rush!) our pre-picked locally sourced, sustainable Christmas trees from Arne will be for sale. (More information about that here: https://ww2.rspb.org.uk/reserves-and-events/events-dates-and-inspiration/events/details.aspx?id=tcm:9-323959)

Pull a Pine will be on our newest area of land - Hyde's Heath. Opened in May this year, this new and emerging heathland is in need of some TLC. Although already a haven for our heathland specialists, many pines have returned to this once conifer plantation, but with your helping hands and Christmas spirit this heathland can continue to flourish.

Our Pull a Pine village will be in the centre of the heath, with stalls, refreshments, food and mulled wine. Be sure to head up there after purchasing your tickets for a tool talk and coffee to get you ready for the day. Follow signs upon arrival and head for parking up at the Arne Farm. After a day of pine clearing and Christmas cheering, you can drop your chosen Christmas tree off at our Pine Pick-up where you can leave them as you get the car! We are all looking forward to the day and we hope you are too!

The event runs from 11am - 3pm. (Last entry to site at 2pm).

No booking required.
