Orchids and Wildflowers at Burton Mere Wetlands

Wednesday 20 June

10am-12pm

Price: £10 per person / £8 RSPB members

Join a knowledgeable guide on this gentle walk through Burton Mere Wetlands looking at the wealth of wildflowers growing here, including a selection of orchids and a behind-the-scenes look at our traditional hay meadow on Burton Point which boasts a range of specialist grassland plants including oxeye daisy, yellow rattle and ragged robin.

Part of the walk will venture away from the reserve's trails across grassland and farmland so unfortunately is unsuitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs, and a reasonable level of fitness and sturdy footwear are essential.

Advanced booking and payment required.
