Stay on the reserve after we have closed for the night and enjoy a wild campout. As most people prepare for bed, all kinds of wildlife on the reserve is waking up. Join us for some bushcraft activities around the campfire before setting off on a night time walk in search of moths, bats, owls and other nightlife. You can help set up the moth traps and pitfall traps or find your own star in the night sky.

Wake up to the sound of nature as she begins the day with a flurry of birdsong and enjoy an early morning stroll before discovering which insects have visited your traps. Then after a hearty breakfast in the Feeding Station it's time to wave goodbye until next year!

Taking part in the Big Wild Sleepout counts towards the RSPB's Wild Challenge programme. You'll get the chance to complete further activities which you can put towards a bronze, silver or gold certificate.

The cost of this event includes overnight camping, all activities and breakfast. An evening meal is provided as an optional extra. All camping equipment must be provided by participants and campers must be over 18 years of age or accompanied by an adult. For further enquires please contact Titchwell reserve at titchwell@rspb.org.uk or telephone 01485 210779.
