Join us for a wonderful day this spring, where you can indulge your love of nature, hone your creative skills and enjoy some fantastic food and drink.

We'll start our day with a not quite dawn chorus, enjoying the spectacular springtime song on the nature reserve, listening out for our iconic songster - the nightingale - and a supporting choir or warblers. We'll return for tea, coffee and breakfast baps.

Once we've refuelled we'll take another opportunity to get closer to nature as we look at some magnificent moths and get 'behind the scenes' as our expert team takes you on a guided walk visiting exclusive parts of the reserve in search of reptiles.

Then choose from a nature photography safari with our photography guides John and Andy who will talk you through a few key techniques to try with your camera and some hints and tips on composition. You'll then have the opportunity to test out some new ideas, with chance to get up close with some of our amazing wildlife. You'll be in a small group so John & Andy will be able to provide you with some 1:1 advice and will help you to track down, identify and photograph wildlife and the beautiful landscape.

Or else take a printmaking workshop with Anna where you'll use lino cutting techniques to design, carve and print your own wildlife inspired picture or collection of stamps. You'll have the option to print cards, wrapping paper and a cotton tote bag. This workshop is designed for beginners and all materials will be provided.

A picnic lunch is also included in the day.

Booking is essential - please let us know your choice of workshop and any dietary requirements on booking.
