Bird Song Special Walk

Sunday 12 May

10:30am - 2pm

Price: £5 RSPB members, £6 non-members (anyone joining the RSPB on the day will be refunded the difference.

Booking essential

A pleasant walk through woodland and along reservoir edges, with our knowledgeable walk leader, to learn to recognise some common birds by their song alone - a great skill to develop since you often hear birds before, or even rather than, seeing them, especially as the trees come into leaf in spring and summer.

You never know what we might spot on the way, so if you have a trusty pair of binoculars, please bring them along, although we will have pairs to lend.

Meet at Binn Green car park.

Please note: while children are welcome on all our events, those under the age of 8 may find it hard to use optics and this walk is not suitable for buggies. Sorry, no dogs on this walk.

Members can park free with their membership card on display in the windscreen.

All events are weather dependent and may be cancelled at short notice in the event of unsuitable conditions.
