Global Climate Strike Day at RSPB Arne

Friday 20 September

10am-4.30pm (Normal visitor opening times).

Join us at RSPB Arne as we stand in solidarity with the youth-lead #ClimateStrike on September 20th.
Fighting climate change is about a lot more emissions - it's about fighting for a just and sustainable world that works for all of us. To stand with those walking out of their workplaces and homes RSPB Arne will be demonstrating our solidarity on the reserve!
- We are encouraging our staff and visitors to travel low carbon and will reward any visitors who arrive by bike or on foot on Friday 20th September with a free tea or filter coffee at our RSPB Arne café! (Please collect your voucher at the Welcome Hut in the carpark when you arrive)
- We are hosting a low carbon and meat free day in the café. Come and find out about our Bronze Soil Association award, and sustainable agriculture practices, along with some delicious meat-free food on offer.
- At Shipstal Beach we will be highlighting sea level rise, the effect climate change has on our key species and habitats and what we can do to help.
This is about us doing our bit to support a great movement. We know it can be a busy time for everyone, so we applaud you to get involved in whatever way is right for you. How will you support #ClimateStrike?
