Aberlady Bay - Geese Galore

Sunday 20 October

10 am

Price: Free

Over 20,000 geese pass through Aberlady during their Autumn migration from Iceland and Northern Europe. Some stay there for the winter and others move further South into England.
Most of the geese that stop off at Aberlady are Pink-footed geese, but in amongst the huge flocks are Barnacle, Brent, Greylag and even the odd Snow goose.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Please note: this event is run by an RSPB volunteer group and is organised for interested members of the local community.

Directions

Meet at the green on the edge of Aberlady village, next to the bay.
