Join us for a special walk of just over six miles which visits parts of the reserve that aren't usually open to the public. We will hopefully see some of the reserve specialities, such as cranes, bittern and marsh harriers. Good numbers of insects will be on the wing and a wide variety of fenland plants will be in flower. This is a leisurely walk that should cover most of the reserve, taking in all the delights and special features of this wetland reserve, come along to learn more about this unique reserve or just to enjoy the beauty of this time of year.

Please wear long trousers, stout footwear, and bring plenty of water. We will have a tea break halfway through so feel free to bring your own refreshments.

Joining the RSPB on the day will enable attendees to pay the reduced, RSPB member ticket price. Suitable for children aged 14 and above.

Social distancing measures relevant to the time the event takes place will be employed throughout the event and we will be entirely outdoors. Please ask for more space if you feel you need it, and all attendees are asked to be supportive of others' needs during the event.
