Exploring Blean woods for 5 to 12 year olds, with bug hunts, nature trails and nature crafts.

About this event

Using forest school learning techniques these sessions will engage and excite children from 5 to 12 years old in the Blean woods. Children will search for and identify insects, create crafts out of woodland materials and explore the woods on a nature trail. There may also be the potential to go pond dipping (not guaranteed). The children will also be engaged in two of the big projects happening at Blean woods at the moment. Rewetting the Blean, coordinated by RSPB and the Wilder Blean project, coordinated by Kent Wildlife Trust and Wildwood Trust.

This event is FREE - It is only necessary to book tickets for children attending the event but please ensure they are accompanied by a responsible adult. Tickets must be pre-booked using the below link:
