We run a whole host of events over the year, across the city.

We do have some regular events though too. Every Saturday and Sunday we run our Wild Weekend events from 1-4 pm in the Museum and 1-3pm in Kelvingrove Park.

Tweeting Toddlers is a group for parents, carers and their pre-5 year old children in Kelvingrove Museum, meeting every Tuesday from 11.30 am-12 pm.

If you want more in-depth learning about wildlife, then come along to our Field Station events. Here you can learn from experts during workshops for photography, tree ID, botanical drawing, identifying insects and more.

This year we have two major events planned:

  • Bioblitz on 23 May. We are spending the whole day finding as many species as possible in the Kelvingrove park along with our partners, Buglife, Froglife, Butterfly Conservation, Clyde Bat Group, Glasgow Natural HistorySociety, Glasgow City Council and Glasgow Life
  • City–wide Wildlife Festival over three weeks in September.
