Seeing it was going to be better weather up at LM thought I would drive up for a few hours and it was a nice day with the sun being out and had a good half hour watching a male Marsh Harrier flying around Grisedale hide it even landed on the other side of the pool but sadly had a few reeds in front of it.These are the pictures I got.
Very nice Jim love the Harrier shots, looks like the Robins are down n the dumps, what's up no live mealies!!
They looked like that even after having mealies Alan :)
Found this one of when the Harrier landed on the other side of the pool.
Can't complain about having a Marsh Harrier hang around for half an hour! A nice one of the deer hind, too.
Thanks Nige, there were only six of us in the hide but we were here there and everywhere and one or two even went outside as it came overhead :)
Lovely, Jim, LM is certainly a wonderful place. Hoping that we can go back eventually.
I hope you can Ann, I will be back as soon as I can weather permitting.
Thanks, Jim, I look forward to more of your photos and reports. (And say 'HI!' to Hazy and Mike, should you happen to be there when they are!)
I will Ann, now that she and Mike are back with us :)
