  • Thanks for the updates Alan. As you suggest, trying not to get too excited!! Ian

  • I've recently returned from Gambia and saw a lot of ospreys, I don't want to say dozens but it felt like it, magical.  Sadly none had any rings to identify them, one looked like it had a silver coloured ring but just too distant for any of us.

  • El Hondo
    10th February Hondo North Gate

  • Ringed?

  • SheilaFE

    Ringed?

My first look made me think that it was, then I looked again & wasn't so sure. Now that you mention it I am now reverting to thinking it is ringed. Ian

  • To this amateur's eye.... it looks ringed (silver on left leg?) Great photo!

  • I thought the same Sheila, Ian, Lisa. In fact I think it may have a blue ring on the right leg. I've just downloaded the photo in order to enlarge it and although no clearer I still think it has a Darvic as well as a BTO one.
