Ross's goose in Angus

During a 'birding meander' one of our members has reported that. after stopping off at Lunan bay (where he saw velvet and common scoter, razorbills, red-throated diver, great crested and a single slavonian grebe and a scaup) he headed for Montrose Basin and happened upon a Ross's goose while scoping through around 160 pinkfoot in a stubble field - "wonderful deep neck feathering and the amount of black on the underwing primary tips was beautifully defined". The photo was taken through a scope on 70X mag.
