Keeping in touch

As announced on 17th March, all our Exeter & District Local Group events have been cancelled until at least September, due to the coronavirus covid-19 pandemic.

However, we will continue to keep in touch with local group members during this period. We are planning to produce the next issue of our newsletter as normal, with a copy date of 13th April. Due to the current situation, we will distribute that issue by email, with a very limited number of printed copies for those members who do not have any internet access.

Another good way to keep in touch is to join our Facebook group at facebook.com/groups/RSPBexeterLG. Note that you will need a Facebook account to see anything posted on the Facebook group. Several group members have been posting pictures and stories about wildlife in their garden, from local walks and cycle rides, and from past trips. We would really like to hear from you too. We also post regular news stories from the RSPB and other conservation organisations, and a few quizzes to keep us entertained.

Please remember to keep an eye on this website too, since we will be posting news items from time to time.

We also plan to send occasional bulletins by email to let group members know any news updates. So that we can continue to keep in touch, please ensure that we have your current email address. Please send any updates to Andy Rook, membership secretary, by email to ExeterGroupMembers@rspb.org.uk, or use the "Contact us" button at the top of this page.
