Another busy year for our Group

Another busy year for our Group

Your committee has been very busy developing an exciting programme for the coming year.

We shall be welcoming some excellent speakers at our monthly meetings ... some old friends and some new faces .... but all with interesting stories to tell and invariably illustrated by stunning wildlife photographs.

Alan Corner and his team are organizing shared car trips to some of our favourite birding sites ... Rutland Water, Ouse Washes and Welney, Lemsford Springs and Rye Meads, Fingringhoe Wick, Pulborough Brooks, Steps Hill, Minsmere and a weekend coach trip to the Somerset Levels.

For more details on all these trips and talks go to the "Events" page on this website which also has information about our fundraising quiz night.

The "Links" pages on this site has lots of useful ideas. Take a look at the Wildlife Explorer Group for Young People based at Boxmoor. You can find details of our e-mail newsgroup where members can send messages about bird sightings and other interesting events to all other members.

So do spread the word and encourage others to join us and enjoy birding!
