Saturday, 26 January 2008

Moving on to the shoreline at Milton of Culloden where there was some sheltetr from the strong wind the group was soon enjoying watching a good selection of waterbirds including many Wigeon, Scaup, Shelduck, Curlews and Redshanks. Also seen were a Slavonian Grebe and a Great Crested Grebe. The next stop was at Alturlie where coffee was drunk while the weather deteriorated and the decision to abandon the trip was reluctantly taken.
