August, September and October News 2016

After our summer break, the new season started with a field trip to RSPB Sandy and Grafham Water on August Bank Holiday Sunday - to find out what we saw see the 'events' section. Our first indoor meeting is coming up on Friday 2 September, when Stuart Elsom will be talking about 'Amazing Colombia', a country that hosts an amazing number of bird species! Our first coach trip will be to Holme NWT on the Norfolk coast on Sunday 18 September, when we will be hoping to see lots of passage migrants and waders. On Friday 7 October we welcome Natalie Holt to 'The Settlement'. Natalie will be talking about the Wallasea Island Wild Coast project, where a huge new RSPB reserve is being created. On Sunday 16 October we will be heading by coach to the magnificent RSPB reserve at Dungeness in Kent, where we will again be looking for birds on passage as well as returning winter visitors. Full details of all our forthcoming events can be found on the 'events' page of this site.
