Visit to Hodbarrow RSPB, Millom

Eleven Lancaster RSPB Local Group members met at the Hodbarrow car park to visit this coastal lagoon and grasslands, located on the site of a former iron mine at Millom in Cumbria. As we made our way along the path a family of whitethroats flew among the hawthorns and goldfinches sang from the other side of the path. More...
