Several hundred redwing and fieldfare in mixed flocks.

hawfinch - first record for site, 2 siskin, brambling, female wigeon, pochard and goldeneye, 2 grey wagtails, 31 redwing, 11 fieldfare, 434 woodpigeons.

29 October - Astbury Mere - early morning Visual Migration
1200 × wood pigeon

23 × fieldfare
92 × starling
43× lapwing
3× grey wagtail
8× pied wagtail
3× siskin and a single brambling all heading south.
Also present two tawny Owl, kingfisher, sparrowhawk, female pochard and a drake shoveler .

Aythya hybrid is possibly a Tufted/Pochard cross. Also male sparrowhawk, two buzzard, grey wagtail and kingfisher.

Blackbird, blackheaded gull, blue tit, carrion crow, chaffinch, coal tit, coot, cormorant, dunnock, goldcrest, goosander, great crested grebe, great tit, grey heron, greylag, grey wagtail, jackdaw, jay, kingfisher, little grebe, lesser black backed gull, long tailed tit, magpie, mallard, mistle thrush, moorhen, mute swan, nuthatch, pheasant, pied wagtail, red legged partridge, rook (heard), treecreeper, tufted duck, wood pigeon, wren plus a common frog!
