Eastern/Siberian Stonechat at Ashton's Flash near Northwich.

14 Egyptian Geese grazing in the field next too Capesthorne Top Pool.

Monday 16 December Ryles Pool, South Park
Bird count for this local duck pond as follows;
Mute swan 2, Mallard 40, black headed gull 70, coot 6, moorhen 2, tufted duck 11, goosander 4.

15 December - Redesmere
One yellow legged gull, one goosander (male), eight goldeneye, one grey heron, five cormorant, two great-crested grebe, seven mute swan, good numbers of black-headed gull, good numbers of tufted duck, massive numbers of coot (approx 200 birds)

Hundreds of redwing descended on area around Poynton sports club, feeding on lacrosse field and stripping holly bushes and trees nearby.

This afternoon there was a male goosander on the canal between bridges 25 & 26 in Adlington and 4 males and 2 females on Styperson pool.
