Gannet with chick at nest, Bass Rock

Having had a dreadful weather over the previous few weeks, we were really hoping that for the trip it would be better and, fortunately, it was! As well as having an enjoyable day by the sea, we got great views of Puffins, Razorbills, Guillemots and Gannets as well as of other seabirds. The cliff top grasslands, pools and other habitats were also productive - with highlights from these being Barn Owl and Corn Bunting. More...
