Events

Indoor meetings are usually held monthly from September until May, usually on the 3rd Friday of the month in the United Church Hall in Duke Street, Southport. As a result of COVID restrictions, the indoor meetings have been temporarily replaced by Zoom presentations and these are being continued through the summer for 2021. Field trips have resumed from July 2021, led by Frank Whitney, from whom further details can be obtained.

AGM & 'Some Birds of the Hebrides - Islay and the Uists' with Ron Jackson

Location: Lord Street West United Church hall
Duke Street
Southport
Merseyside
Postcode: PR8 1LS (Google map)

Our final indoor meeting of the 2021/22 programme will be by local naturalist Ron Jackson where he takes us to the Scottish Isles.

Ron's presentation is in the form of a high definition video with additional voice over commentary by Ron himself- and, of course, the opportunity to ask questions.

We are required to have a formal AGM and this will precede Ron's presentation. We do all that we can to keep this short (whist not, of course, stifling debate) and it usually lasts around 15 minutes - so please do not let that deter you from attending our second in-person meeting for some time.
