Exe Estuary Boat Trip

Location: Coach departs from Vicarage Road, Stourbridge (opposite site of old Corbett Hospital car park - see Links page)

This day trip includes a boat trip on the River Exe. The boat has an enclosed, heated lower deck (with bar) and an open upper deck for more hardy souls. The estuary is an important wintering site for avocets and other waders. On previous boat trips we have seen spoonbill, great northern diver, slavonian grebe and red-breasted goose. This is a popular trip so make sure you book early. As with any of our field trips warm, waterproof clothing and stout footwear are recommended.

Time: Depart 7.00 am

Price: TBA
