We were able to explain the work of the RSPB to the many people who visited our stall and several people became members as a result of their conversation with us.
Adults and children from home and abroad were able to look through our telescope and see the peregrines perched on the Minster.
"Wow" was a word we heard about a hundred times as people saw the female peregrine perched on a gargoyle.
One young couple remarked how it "beats looking for POKÉMON"
We will be in the park again on August 27th, please do come and join us.
The photo shows some people looking at the peregrines and many used their mobile phones to take a picture of the bird using the telescope.
