Car Outing to Little Paxton Gravel Pits

Paxton Pits Nature Reserve is a rich mosaic of wildlife habitats, with beautiful lakes,
riverside, meadow, reedbed, scrub and woodland rich in wildlife. The reserve has guided,
accessible trails and a friendly visitor centre to rest your feet and get tea, coffee and ice
creams.

Please note: this event is run by an RSPB volunteer group and is organised for interested members of the local community.

Directions

Meet in the reserve car park by 09:30. Paxton Pits is located just five minutes from the A1. Nearest postcode PE19 6ET. Parking is free.

Please take care as you get to the reserve as you will cross a busy road on the site, that provides access for the incoming and outgoing gravel lorries, before entering the car park
