Sunday 5 July

3 pm to 5 pm

Price: Tea, coffee, home-made sandwiches, cakes and scones at very reasonable prices

To comply with the government announcement on Monday 16 March, and advice from RSPB HQ we have now cancelled all our events, indoor and outdoor, until 1 September. Events after that date will be kept under review. We will post updates on our website on a regular basis. Members will be kept informed by email where we have consent to do so.

We will continue to post news and updates on our website and facebook page in an attempt to keep us all sane! In the meantime, stay well look after those closest to you. We all need to do what we can to enable our wonderful NHS to treat not only those with serious Covid-19 symptoms but all the other patients as well.

A very nice summer event in Wimborne St Giles where we have gained a very good reputation for our afternoon teas. It is held in the village hall and its lovely garden so there is ample room.

RSPB sales goods, home produce, preserves and plants will be available.

We serve sandwiches, cream scones and a wide range of delicious home-made cakes.

If you'd like to volunteer to make cakes in advance or to help on the day we'd love to hear from you, just contact Tony Goddard or Barbara Crow. This is a major fundraiser for us and we really appreciate the support you give us.

If you can't volunteer then do come along for a splendid cream tea at the Village Hall.

Leave yourself time to look at the village and the beautiful church as well.

Please note: this event is run by an RSPB volunteer group and is organised for interested members of the local community.
