The not quite dawn chorus - FULLY BOOKED

Monday 6 May

7.30 am - 10 am

Price: Cost: £20 per person / £16 for RSPB members

Booking essential

If you’re keen to enjoy incredible bird song but don’t want to wake up at 3 am, this is the event for you! As part of our nightingale festival, and in celebration of international dawn chorus day, join us on a morning walk to watch and listen to this incredible bird. Despite their name, nightingales will sing during the day time and they’ll be joined by a choir of brilliant warblers. Our friendly guides will lead you around the reserve to enjoy the performance and then we’ll return to the Visitor Centre for tea, coffee and a breakfast bap.

Booking essential - please contact the Visitor Centre on 01798 875851 between 9.30 am and 4.30 pm.

All of our nightingale festival events this year are being supported by Horsham District Year of Culture 2019.

Update 16 March - sorry, this event is now fully booked. We do currently have places available on our Dawn Chorus walk on Saturday 11 May and for our Birdsong Masterclass 'special edition' on Saturday 18 May. The latter combines a 'not quite dawn chorus' walk with a birdsong identification workshop & walk with a breakfast bap sandwiched in the middle!
