Coach outing to Abberton Resevoir, Essex

Sunday 23 January

Various pick up points

Price: £28 (inc. entry donation)

Booking essential

This Essex Wildlife Trust site now has an improved visitor centre with shop, toilet and small cafe.
There are 3 accessible hides and is an excellent site for ducks, geese, grebes and waders. All 3 species of divers are possible; it is also a good spot for raptors and hares. On our last visit hedgerows had been newly planted so these should be better developed and hold small birds.
We will have a comfort stop on route.
As always, stout shoes are recommended.
Please bring your own packed lunch.
We will be leaving this site at 3pm instead of the usual 4pm.
A £2.00 donation to the Wildlife Trust has been included in the cost of the trip.

Please note: this event is run by an RSPB volunteer group and is organised for interested members of the local community.
