Walk and Talk on the Birdlife of Victoria Park

Saturday 19 May

10:30am - 11:30am

Price: Free

This walk will be led by local bird enthusiast Susan Harris. Meet at the Big Pond adjacent to the play area. The park is home to a wide range of birds, including the resident mute swans (and a few whoopers), little grebes, mallards, coots and moorhens. We'll talk about what we should be feeding them and how we can avoid putting birds at risk. We may also see woodpeckers, ring-necked parakeets, goldcrests and treecreepers as well as all the birds we see round our gardens. Nature worksheets for children will be available (children welcome with parents). Please note this event will be weather dependent.

Please note: this event is not organised by the RSPB
