We were very surprised indeed when two pairs of cranes arrived on the reserve in 2007. Eleven years later, at least one pair is still resident on the reserve. After a 45 minute talk in the visitor centre about the status of cranes in Britain, we will go for a three mile walk to look for our resident birds, as they tend to very active at this time of year. Although sightings aren't guaranteed, March tends to be the best month of the year to see them so the chance of some sighting are high. Price includes a hot drink and a biscuit. Suitable for children aged 8 and above. Price includes entrance fees for non-members.
