Deep in the heart of lowland Iceland a successful breeding population of pink-footed geese is flourishing. As temperatures drop and glaciers are swept by powerful Arctic winds the geese head to the UK for the winter. By mid October large numbers have gathered on The Wash at Snettisham reserve where they roost overnight. As the night skies lighten the geese stir, hungry and vociferous - ready to fly at first light. The sight and sound of tens of thousands of pinkies forming trailing skeins of chattering geese across the Norfolk sky is one of our most loved wildlife spectacles. Join our expert guide this season to be in the middle of the action as mighty flocks of pink-footed geese fly overhead. We invite you to continue the experience at Titchwell Marsh reserve where Brent and greylags also gather among the plethora of waders on the Fresh Marsh and Patsy's Reedbed.

Booking is essential. Please telephone Titchwell Marsh reserve on 01485 210779. Every booking will receive a 20% discount voucher towards food and beverage at Titchwell Marsh on the day, so why not join us for a breakfast bap or lunch.
