Join us for a wander up Chew track to see if we can spot the enigmatic mountain hares with their distinct white winter fur. The Peak District is the furthest south that you can see these iconic creatures, so to catch a close up view through our 'scope is a real treat - and we never know what else we might see on the day.

Our knowledgeable walk leader will provide plenty of information so you will learn more about these wonderful animals on the way.

Meet at the top of the main car park.

Please note: While children are welcome on all our events, those under the age of 8 may find it hard to use optics. Sorry, no dogs on this walk.

Members can park free in the main car park with their membership card on display in the windscreen. All events are weather dependent and may be cancelled at short notice in the event of unsuitable conditions.
